KAP Process

01 : initial consult & medical referral

If you are new to my practice, we’ll begin with a 50 minute consult to determine if ketamine can be a useful tool for you, and if you and I are a good fit to work together.

If it’s a yes for both of us, you’ll be referred to a medical provider for screening. With medical clearance, Ketamine lozenges will be sent to your home. Once this step is complete, we’ll meet for two additional pre-sessions.

02 : two pre-sessions

Pre-sessions are required to allow us time to get to know each other, for me to learn about your intentions for our work together, and how best I can support you as the experience unfolds. We’ll spend time talking about what you can expect during your ketamine experiences and working through your pre-flight checklist.

03 : KAP session

Your 4-hour ketamine session will take place in my office, (in some cases) your home, or via Zoom. You are responsible for self administering the prescribed amount of ketamine during your session. If we’re meeting at my office, you will require transportation home. You may not drive yourself.

04 : integration session

You and I will have a 50 minute follow-up/integration session within 48 hours of your ketamine session. Ketamine is a tool. The conversations you and I have before, during, and after the experience, and the meaning you make of what you saw, heard, and felt, are where the shifts in patterns and awareness get rooted.

Cost of Ketamine Assisted Therapy

My fee is $1,750. This includes the initial consult, two pre-sessions, four hour ketamine flight, and integration session.
The Medical Evaluation/Clearance + Prescription is a separate cost.
Three options for this step:
Option 1: I’ll refer you to an online medical provider who specializes in ketamine therapies. Cost is $500 for Medical Evaluation + Prescribed Ketamine (for 5 sessions) paid to medical provider.
Option 2: You talk with your primary care physician and arrange for medical clearance + prescription. Ketamine is inexpensive and your insurance may pay for office visit for this request.
Option 3: For Texas residents only, meet with psychiatric nurse referral partner in my office suite for medical evaluation and prescription. Approximately $300.
I do not bill insurance. By request, I will provide a Super-bill for you to submit to your insurance company.
